About

Whether you are a farmer, teacher, sandhill crane or student, water is an essential part of life. Not only does water make life possible in the San Luis Valley, but it makes life enjoyable! Each year we and our partners host Water Fest on the Rio to celebrate water and the many things it provides. Hands-on activities and lessons are led by local experts and include water quality testing, water games, insect investigations, kayaking the Rio Grande and more!
