Class 2 Field

2017-2018 Focus Topic: "Healthy Watershed, Healthy Communities"

The Class 2 Field Program recognizes that classroom learning is important, but not the only way to learn. We tie presentations and activities with Colorado core academic standards in the classroom and transition those lessons to an outdoor setting. Teachers may choose from a variety of lessons that specifically align to field-based experiences. Students will interact with local farmers and ranchers, conservation trusts, and a variety of professionals from natural resource management agencies such as the US Forest Service, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, National Wildlife Refuges, the Bureau of Land Management, and others. Check out our Focus Topic for the 2017-2018 school year and schedule your classroom or field trip now!
